Medtronic Conventions Exhibition Booth

Event Details:

Position Five conceptualised, built, and executed four exhibition booths throughout the months of October - March 2024. We worked closely with Medtronic’s branding guidelines and global design intent to bring the booths to life. Taking into consideration the brand’s new electric blue, decorating the booths with LED strips as well as LED wall to feature their various products.

What was unique about this project?

We had to work very closely with the Medtronic team in the USA to fit their criterias. The majority of the booth’s furnitures had to be custom built with a 3D mockup to help the clients as well as our carpentry team visualise the final product. We had to pay close attention to branding and details to ensure that the booth were aesthetically pleasing while still being functional and practical.

Comedian’s Star Charity

Event Details:

2021 Position 5 provided a multi-camera full length stream for Rishi Budhrani’s Comedians' Star Charity. The Rishi Report. Hosted by local comedian Rishi Budhrani, the show will feature a star-studded cast including Yung Raja, ALYPH, Ra Ra Kumar, Gurmit Singh and Benjamin Kheng.

What was unique about this stream?

The project was nominated for 4 different categories and won the Silver Award for Best PR Campaign (Entertainment) at the #PRAwards 2022 by Marketing Interactive Asia. The campaign raised more than $30k for various charities.

Shoot Details:

Position Five was thrilled to collaborate with BCUBE Live Sound and Productions on an ASMR-themed shoot for Female Singapore. ASMR is all about creating sensory experiences, so we worked on combining the visually stunning watches and carefully crafted the audio to match the tone and artistic direction of the video. It was a project where every detail mattered, from the lighting and filming equipment choices to the soundscape created.

What was the result:

Navigating the world of social media content creation can indeed be a challenge, especially with specific format requirements like the 9:16 aspect ratio for reels. We put a lot of thought and effort into adapting the visual storytelling to fit this format while still maintaining the essence of the product and talent involved.

With 173K views on Female Singapore's Instagram, our efforts definitely paid off. We are forever grateful to have this wonderful opportunity and hope to have more successful collaborations and opportunities in the future!

Kings & Queens of Comedy Asia 10

Event Details:

For the consecutive second year, Position Five received the esteemed invitation to film the renowned Kings & Queens of Comedy Asia event. Showcasing a lineup of world-class comedians including Jason Leong, Fakkah Fuzz, Rishi Budhrani, Sharul Channa, and others, Position Five delivered a comprehensive on-site multicam setup featuring six cameras, a film unit, and audio recording services.

What we did:

When recording live shows, capturing diegetic sound is imperative. Our goal was to faithfully capture the rich acoustics of The Esplanade Singapore's theatre. Thoughtfully positioning our microphones throughout the venue, we aimed to achieve optimal sound quality while also considering audio post-production techniques to deliver the finest output for our clients. Additionally, we prioritized incorporating numerous camera angles to provide a diverse array of shots and effectively capture the expressions of the performers onstage.

F1 Singapore Grand Prix

Event Details:

Position Five assisted French broadcast company Amp Visual in the live telecast for Singapore’s F1 Grand Prix on Canal+. We worked with the Amp Visual team to run fiber optic cables across the paddock, track and to the main TV compound. We also assisted in the setup of the wireless infrastructure to ensure that the broadcast was seamless.

What was the result:

We have forged strong bonds with the Amp Visual team over the past two years at F1 and we are so happy and proud to be a part of this huge event in Singapore. Although we played a small role in the production, we are happy to have been able to help and learn so much about broadcast.

Stand Up Against Scams (NTUC INCOME)

Event Details:

Position Five facilitated provided full technical support for this shoot. Focusing on the directing and technical aspects of this project, we ensured to keep this ad ready for the big screen and fun and entertaining at the same time.

Keeping the client’s corporate branding into great consideration, we had to ensure that the ad was still entertaining and drove a positive message to our audience.

What we did:

Vanessa was incharged of the direction of this ad to ensure that there was still the essence of a “Stand up comedy” night but still preserving the look and feel of a large live show.

We took charge of almost all the technical aspects of this shoot from the camera equipment, art direction, sound and acting. We also oversaw the post production of this project.

The ad will be airing in Cinemas in August 2022.

Kizuki + LIM 10th Year Anniversary

Event Details:

Held at Kult Kafe Singapore, LIM Singapore celebrated their 10th Anniversary with style. The event was held from 3 pm – 9 pm on the 23 February 2019, with multiple performances from various local artists such as Charlie Lim, Linying, NADA and many more! Guests were blown away by the amazing hair show done by LIM’s hairstylists.

What we did:

Position Five providied sound system support, external power supplies and event videography.

What was the result:

Over 400 people came for the event and the event was received extremely well by the guests. The event ran without a hitch with both our clients and their guests satisfied and having a great time. We would also like to extend our thanks to LIM Singapore for being such wonderful clients.

SOTA Night Festival 2018

Event Details:

The event was held in conjunction with Singapore night festival on the 23rd and 24th August 2018 at SOTA steps.

What we did:

Position Five provided SOTA with AVL set-up, teardown, sound engineering and backline.

What was the result:

Event was an overall success and went without a hitch, gathering a large audience.

SCAPE* League of Legends Screening

Event Details:

The event was held at *SCAPE The Ground Theatre from 27th to 28th October to witness who gets a spot in the Finals for League of Legends 2018 World Championship semi-finals viewing party.

What we did:

Position Five provided *SCAPE with a 4M x 7M High Definition LED wall inclusive of a video switcher.

What was the result:

Event was an overall success with more than 400 spectators filling *SCAPE The Ground Theatre to the brim. It was also well received by the public.
